I am so glad that you are here for a visit! Today’s post was written by a very special young lady, my daughter. This is from her blog, Musings of an Elf, and I would like to share it with you. I hope that you are blessed by it as much as I am.
In life, there is one thing every person wants.
Knowing they are safe.
Scared, alone, fearful, worried, frightened—we’ve all experienced these. Thinking we are not safe is a horrible feeling.
No matter what we are doing, as long as we know we are safe, it’s easy to push through. We all need that security.
And we do always have that security, no matter where we are or what we’re going through.
“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.”
Psalm 4:8
God promises as long as we trust in Him, we will always have His protection. He is forever with us, comforting us, caring for us, and protecting us.
“He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.”
Psalm 91:4
There is nothing that can break that security we have in His protection. Even as the storms surge around us and it appears like there is no hope, He is still there, keeping us secure under His wing.
“How excellent is Thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Thy wings.”
"Psalm 36:7
We have no reason to fear, for the all powerful, all merciful, loving, and kind Creator of the universe has us safely tucked under His wing.

This was very encouraging to read. What a blessing to have a daughter who relies upon her Lord for safety and protection! :)
Hi Mrs Smith and daughter - lovely post. You are so right. Mrs Smith is it not awesome to have your daughter write such beautiful words giving glory to God? May God richly bless you both.
God bless

What a lovely post from your daughter! Just beautiful and so reassuring.
Thank you for your sweet comments at my blog! It's so good to be back and visiting again!
Yes, our homeschool group does sound similar to yours. Graduation is such a bittersweet time. My daughter is our youngest, so this will bring an end to the formal homeschool years, although I will always remain connected to the homeschool community!
We are still undecided about what to do around the pool! I will definitely let you know what we pick out.
I have written a letter also! I appreciate your encouraging comments so much. :)
What a lovely post, I like all the scriptures that you used. We can truly take such comfort in the promises God's word gives us. My graphic fits nicely with this, so glad you used it. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. ~ Abby
