Weary? Troubled? Rejoice!
This is a time that you can make great strides in spiritual growth.
This is a time that your witness can be the strongest by demonstrating to those around you the peace of Christ that “surpasses all understanding.”
This is a time that you can exercise and boost your faith as you put it to action.
This is a time to increase your awareness of our dependency on the Lord.
And most importantly, this is a time that you can discover a deeper relationship with your Heavenly Father. Draw near to Him and let Him envelop you in is loving arms as He guides you through your situation.

This is wonderfully encouraging, Mrs. Smith, and so true! We have been through many dark moments in recent years and God has proved Himself so faithful. It is such a blessing to remember that He has a purpose in our trials and that He is in them with us. Thanks so much for sharing this.
This is so true. I believe some of our greatest spiritual growth comes through trials.

I'm visiting your blog for the first time today from Tracy's blog. I love the look of you blog! Where did you get all of the wonderful clip art from? I loved your post. So encouraging!
Shari,
I am so glad to meet you! The clip art was a background picture that I found from Google images, but I couldn't find the actual source. So my son edited HTML to get it to work as my background. That is where my daughter took over, photo editing a few things and making a matching banner. I am honored that you like it!
Mrs. Smith...what encouragement! Trials really do call us to depend on God. Thank you for the great post and for sharing at WJIM.
So glad I came across your beautiful site, Mrs. Smith. You are truly inspiring and this particular post on "Growing Spiritually Fit Through Trials" seemed to be meant just for me! I will be back often for a visit. God bless you.
