Do you know someone struggling that you can help lift their spirit? Perhaps it is someone sick, or someone hurting, or someone experiencing a time of loneliness. . .
Will you come alongside them and let them know that they are not going through their low moments alone?
With a tender heart, will you offer them
a listening ear,
a kind word,
comfort,
assurance,
and encouragement?
Life is tough, and it sure does help to know that we are loved and that someone cares about what we are going through. Will you purpose in your heart to be a beacon of light throughout their turbulent time?
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”
2 Corinthians 1:3-5

I actually have quite a few people on my heart who I would love to share the joy and comfort of Christ with. Thank you for this encouragement to *do* it!
Blessings to you,
Mrs. Smith
Ok....it's getting late in the day...
I think I forgot to sign my name in my last comment and with the way I tabbed down, it looked like I signed it Mrs. Smith. I really need to stop my fingers and proofread before I hit that "Publish" button! Ooops! Good for a chuckle anyway.
Let's try this again.
Blessings to you, Mrs Smith~

Oh Katie, I'm the queen of typo's. I even found one that I missed on this post when I got home tonight, in spite of proofreading multiple times before I published it!
You have a great weekend!
nice post thanks for sharing...looking for to visit more blessings
Thank you for posting this, what a timely reminder for all of us! I prayed for you today, thanks for stopping by my blog. Hugs ~ Mary
I'm hopping over from Deep Roots at Home and am challenged to encourage someone today. Even emailing someone or whoever God brings across my path. I find that when I am pulled down by life's difficulties, I am uplifted just by the simple act of doing something for others. It sure gets your thoughts off yourSELF!!
You have a beautiful blog by the appearance. Very pretty. It also draws me to want to return when I have more time for a prolonged visit.
A wonderful reminder! So many are hurting or in need of a kind listening ear.
Bless you for this precious post.
A lovely WFW, Dear, thank you.
A beautiful post and a good reminder Mrs. Smith! My pastor shared that verse with me when I was talking with him about some trials my kids were going through several years ago. It became a favorite verse of mine.
Lovely post, Mrs. Smith! Thank you so much for sharing it. Those verses are favorites of mine, too, and have been meaningful to me many times in trials.
I try my best to share love with everyone....God is love so we must be the same....Happy Tuesday my dear...with love Janice
Happy Independence Day, Mrs. Smith!! :)
Blessings to you and your family for a safe and blessed 4th,
Katie
