“If only I looked like that!”
“If only I had her position in life!”
“If only I had her skills, her talents…”
Sound familiar?
If you were to be like her, who would be like you?
God designed you uniquely, and NO ONE CAN TAKE YOUR PLACE. No one.
God never meant for you to be like anyone else. So why compare yourself? He has fashioned you to fulfill His purpose and plans in a way that none other will or can do.
Do you not know how God sees you?
He sees you as His masterpiece.
He sees you as having immense worth and promise!
If someone has made you feel insignificant, well, let me just say, they’ve got problems. You are of great value to the Lord. He has plans for you, today, tomorrow, and in the future.
You are God’s workmanship. Every trial, every victory, every tear, every joy, has a purpose in your life. Allow Him to mold and shape you into just what He designed you to be.
Almighty God, Creator of all, treasures you! Don’t you think it is about time that you treasure you too?

Oh my sweet friend, how this blessed my heart! I know I have at times wished I was someone else, or wished I had her hair, her complexion, her.... So vain of me to even have those thoughts bouncing around in my head. God made each one of us unique and beautiful in HIS eyes - to me, that is the most important and I thank you for the kind reminder :)
Have a lovely weekend. Hugs to you!
What an encouraging post. Thank you! If only.... I can remember to keep my eyes on the Lord!
Such a perfect post...one I will share with my teenage daughters. : )

Have a cozy autumn weekend!

Thank you for these encouraging words ♥
perfect timing for me too :) blessings ♥
It is so easy to want what we don't have or think someone else has it all. Great reminder that God made each of us with unique & special gifts! Have a blessed week!
AMEN! Comparison is so ugly. God made each one individually unique. No two alike! Blessings!
This is such a spot-on post. My daughter suffers with this syndrome, which somehow I have probably helped inflict on her. Did you read Ann Voskamp's post today on Holy Experience? It's about comparisons too. How we do this to ourselves! Thanks for visiting me, glad to share the fall leaves with you :)
